喀麦隆雅温得第二大学孔子学院

     概况

 Brief Introduction

    喀麦隆雅温得第二大学孔子学院于2007年11月9日揭牌成立，建立在原喀麦隆汉语培训中心基础之上，中方承办单位为浙江师范大学。浙江师范大学先后派出了10位教师和1名工程师在中心开展汉语教学和文化传播工作。

    Confucius Institute at University of Yaounde II (UYII) of Cameroon was inaugurated on Nov. 9, 2007. CIUYII was born on the basis of Chinese LanguageTraining Centre. Zhejiang Normal University (ZNU) of China undertook the project in cooperation with UYII of Cameroon. ZNU has so far appointed to the Centre 10 teachers and 1 engineer here to do the teaching job and culture spreading.

     主要成就

       Main Achievements

    我们共培训了500多名外交官进修生和研究生，遍及非洲20多个国家；同时还培训了500多名热心汉语学习的校外学生。

    先后推荐10名学生赴华自费留学，另有8人获中国政府奖学金公派留学。3人参加“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛决赛，其中1人获三等奖，4人获“汉语桥”奖学金赴华短期学习。

    先后组织了两次汉语水平考试，每次通过率达到50%。有1人获得去华短期学习的奖学金。

    非洲中西部地区最早的汉语教学点，在非洲诸多国家声名远播，被誉为“体现南南合作精神的典范”。

    2005年，浙江师范大学3位老师被喀麦隆政府授予“金质劳动勋章”。

   Over 500 students diplomats and graduate students from over 20 African countries as well as more than 500 outside learners received Chinese language training at the Center.

   Up to now, 10 self-financed and 8 Chinese government scholarship students were recommended to study in China. Three of the students participated in the finals of the Chinese Bridge ---- Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students in which one won a third prize, and 4 students got the scholarship of Chinese Bridge to study in China for a month.

   HSK was organized twice since the establishment of the testing center in 2007. Each time, half of the participants passed the test. Among them, one of the participants won the scholarship of HSK to study in China for a month.
As the earliest Chinese language teaching center in central and western Africa, it is well-known in African countries and regarded as a good example of South-South Cooperation.

   Three teachers from ZNU were awarded the Gold Medal of Labor by the Cameroonian government in 2005.
